What is the Austrian Class Lottery?
The Austrian Class Lottery is a state-guaranteed prize winning game and offers the highest chances of winning amongst all games of chance throughout Austria. Out of 250,000 tickets 248,196 prizes are to be won.
How does the Class Lottery work?
The Austrian Class Lottery is played in six game sections, the so-called classes, over half a year. So there are two Class Lotteries in one year.
You can win again every week. Each ticket has numerous chances of winning the Euro-million. You decide about your charges yourself, because apart from whole tickets you can also buy half tickets and tenths of a ticket. It is very important and advantageous to play throughout the complete lottery, as the highest number of prizes and the highest winning amounts are drawn in the 6th class.
How long does a lottery take?
A lottery takes half a year, i.e. six classes. Each class takes exactly four weeks.
What are classes?
Each lottery is divided into six classes. The winning amount and the number of wins increase from one class to the other. Most and highest prizes are drawn in the 6th class. There are 5 draws per class.
How can I participate in the next lottery?
According to the official rules of the game we offer our regular customers the opportunity to continue playing the same tickets in the next lottery.
What does „guaranteed by the state“ mean?
Unlike with other games of chance, there is a prize schedule in the Austrian Class Lottery, in which the number and the amount of the wins are fixed in advance. So the Austrian Class Lottery is the only game of chance in Austria in which the prizes are guaranteed in advance.
What does a lottery ticket cost?
A whole ticket (1/1) costs EUR 150.00 per class
Half a ticket (1/2) costs EUR 75.00 per class
One tenth of a ticket (1/10) costs EUR 15.00 per class
Please note that if the lottery has started already, you must still pay for those classes that have already been played.
